Questions

Is this course for me if I have never written code?

Yes. The first lesson starts with a single line of console.log, and every lesson after it builds only on what you have already done.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The code runs on the lesson page, in your browser. When you want to work on your own computer, install Node.js from nodejs.org, and the course examples run there too.

How much does the course cost?

Nothing: all 16 lessons, examples and tasks are open on the site for free.

How does task checking work?

Your code runs, and what it prints with console.log is compared with the expected output. If it does not match, open the hint and try again.

What will I learn, and what comes next?

Writing small programs: arrays and objects, map, filter and reduce, classes, JSON, errors and async/await. The final project is an online store cart. The course is about the language itself, so the natural next steps are the page (DOM), Node.js or TypeScript.
