Humanizer: editing out the habits that give AI prose away
Model-written prose leans on the same habits: contrasts that add weight but no claim, one-line closers, triads and dashes everywhere. Humanizer, built on Wikipedia's Signs of AI writing guide, marks those tells strongest first, drafts a rewrite, checks it against the original claims and then writes the final version.

What it does
Checks 26 patterns in six groups, including staging, rhythm by rule, inflated significance, formatting by rule and chat leftovers.
Acts on a single sighting of the five strongest tells, such as not X but Y, while weak-alone patterns need company before it edits.
Never adds a name, number, date, quote or citation that is missing from the source, and asks when a sentence needs one.
Matches your voice from a two-to-three-paragraph sample, following its sentence length, word choice, punctuation and even its dashes.
In file mode it rewrites prose only, leaving code blocks, commands, paths, frontmatter, data and link targets untouched.
When to use it
A launch post or press note drafted with a model reads like a template and needs a plain, specific edit.
A pull request description or commit message should read like an engineer wrote it before it goes public.
Documentation in a repo needs its filler removed without anyone touching the code samples.
Ask your agent
/humanizer Rewrite this feature announcement and drop the hype and the dramatic closers.
Humanize the prose in docs/release-notes.md, keep the code blocks as they are.
Here are three paragraphs of my own writing; match that voice when you humanize the draft below.
